Since organizing in 1976, Spanish Wells has been home to many individuals looking for a unique living environment close to the waters of Broad Creek and Calibogue Sound. Since all the 192 homesites are an acre or larger, Spanish Wells is able to accommodate a wide variety of home designs with plenty of room between neighbors. The properties are split evenly between golf course homesites and deep water homesites ... some on both the Calibogue Sound and Broad Creek. We have no gate, no deer and no alligators.
Although The Spanish Wells Club is within Spanish Wells Plantation, property owners are not automatically members of the club. We maintain a very close relationship and many of our property owners are also members of The Spanish Wells Club. We employ MOU's (Memorandums of Understanding) to establish our relationship with regard to the community pool and deepwater dock that is available for club members as well as property owners.
Spanish Wells Plantation encompasses nearly 300 acres of high ground loaded with lagoons and stately ancient Live Oaks laden with Spanish Moss. There is a certain mystique about Spanish Wells that began in the early days of the community’s history and continues today.
If you are a property owner, you already know what I mean. If you are a visitor, take a little time to discover what we are all about.
Welcome,
Sonny Huntley
