Introduction

Spanish Wells Property Owner,

I want to take this opportunity to introduce myself to those of you that do not know me and let you know that I plan to continue an open dialogue with all members of the SWPOA. After all when it comes to performance, communication must always be in the forefront.

As a former Special Agent for the United States Secret Service, I have spent a great deal of time during the course of my career supervising and directing the planning and implementation of security arrangements for the President, Vice President, and foreign heads of state. I have participated in numerous public and private partnerships involving critical infrastructure protection and emergency preparedness.

My protection experience has been uniquely complimented through my liaison role with the U.S. Intelligence community, supervising and directing the receipt and review of law enforcement and national security intelligence information and assessing its impact on Secret Service protective responsibilities.

Recently, I made a decision to begin a new endeavor after more than 20 years of combined federal and state law enforcement and military service. In May of 2007, I launched Advance Point Global, INC. APG provides a diverse range of risk consulting services to assist with solutions to a variety of issues for a wide range of clientele.

With unparalleled expertise and experience in risk mitigation, crisis management, intelligence and Counter-terrorism, Advance Point Global provides strategic consultations and comprehensive assistance for protecting critical infrastructure.

As a member of the Spanish Wells community; I am concerned about the safety and security of my family and yours. I want to protect our collective investment and work to make Spanish Wells more attractive to those who may consider living here. My plan is to be the one point of contact for the residents of Spanish Wells regarding security. I will make myself personally available to discuss any security related matters. Consistency is key to the success of this initiative.

My experience, leadership and location here in the community make me uniquely qualified to provide the level of service everyone in the Spanish Wells community deserves.

All that to be said, I am not going to be the traditional “Chief of Security” for the Spanish Wells community. Through Advance Point Global, I will manage the security operation for Spanish Wells and hand select Security Officers to patrol our neighborhood. Due to the worldwide network my company is managing I am positioned to attract well qualified individuals.

The Security force at Spanish Wells Plantation consists of a highly trained and experienced group of professionals, whose mission is to serve the Spanish Wells community. Advanced Point Global, Inc. (APGI), officers operate motorized and bike patrols. Anyone who needs security services of any type at any time within the Plantation should telephone: 843-384-3399.

The security officers on patrol within the Plantation are deputized by the South Carolina State Law Enforcement Division. Within the boundaries of the Plantation, they have the same powers of arrest as those of a Deputy Sheriff. They operate radar devices, write traffic citations and act on complaints. The Security force maintains close relations and coordinates activities with Federal, State and County agencies.

In addition, the plantation’s entrance and key facilities are monitored 24-hours per day by the use of survielance cameras. Spanish Wells residents also look out for their neighbors. All residents are encourgaged to keep an eye out for any unusual behavior at all times and to report it immediately.
